**Question:** Which baby play gym is easy to assemble?

**Short answer:** Fisher-Price Glow and Grow Kick & Play Gym has the best record for easy setup: 11 of 11 parents said it was quick and easy, though that is a small group. Ingenuity Cozy Spot Activity Gym (24 of 28) and Baby Einstein Kickin' Tunes 4-in-1 Play Gym (14 of 16) also went together easily for a large majority of parents, and the most reviewers weighed in on the Ingenuity. Just three play gyms cleared the bar for this page, so this is a short list.

**What stands out:** Setup is not where these gyms split. Build is: 35% of Baby Einstein Kickin' Tunes 4-in-1 Play Gym reviews call it flimsy, compared with 9% of Ingenuity Cozy Spot Activity Gym reviews.

## Ranking (parents who said whether it worked)

| 2 | Ingenuity Cozy Spot Activity Gym | 24 of 28 | 86% | yes |
| 3 | Baby Einstein Kickin' Tunes 4-in-1 Play Gym | 14 of 16 | 88% | yes |

Ranked by the lower bound of a 90% Wilson confidence interval, so a product needs a high share and enough reports to rank high. An Amazon link is shown only when at least 60% say it works.

## Questions

**Which baby play gym is easy to assemble?**

Fisher-Price Glow and Grow Kick & Play Gym has the best record (11 of 11), followed by Ingenuity Cozy Spot Activity Gym (24 of 28) and Baby Einstein Kickin' Tunes 4-in-1 Play Gym (14 of 16). All three went together easily for a large majority of the parents who weighed in, and the Fisher-Price record rests on a smaller group.

**Should I stay with my baby while they use a play gym?**

Yes. Stay with your baby during play and tummy time on the gym, and follow the maker's age guidance and the manual. What parents said here is about setting it up, so it says nothing about whether a gym suits your baby's age.

**Is the Baby Einstein Kickin' Tunes Play Gym flimsy?**

Many parents said so. 35% of Baby Einstein Kickin' Tunes 4-in-1 Play Gym reviews call it flimsy, though 14 of 16 said it was easy to set up and 55% say their baby stayed entertained.

**How did you decide a play gym was hard to set up?**

We counted a parent as a miss when they said setting it up was hard or that the arches wouldn't stay attached. Parents who said it was quick and easy counted as a hit, and reviews that didn't say how setup went are not in the score.
