Category: Home > Dish soap. Updated 2026-10-08. Based on 137 counted first-hand reports from Target shopper reviews, Apr 2016 to Sep 2026.

**Question:** Which dish soap won't dry out your hands?

**Short answer:** Palmolive Ultra Pure + Clear Dish Soap has the best record for hands: 56 of 61 shoppers said it didn't dry out or irritate their skin. Seventh Generation Dish Liquid Soap is close behind at 18 of 20, from a smaller group. Dapple Bottle & Dish Soap has the weakest record here at 15 of 22.

**What stands out:** Fragrance-free doesn't settle it. Palmolive and Dapple are both fragrance-free, yet they sit at opposite ends of this list, with the scented Seventh Generation soap in between.

| 2 | Seventh Generation Dish Liquid Soap | 18 of 20 | 90% | yes |
| 3 | Dapple Bottle & Dish Soap | 15 of 22 | 68% | yes |
