**Short answer:** Ello Jones Travel Mug has the best record for staying sealed: 35 of 38 shoppers said it didn't leak when tipped over or carried in a bag. BruMate Era Straw Tumbler is close behind at 21 of 23, and Simple Modern Classic Tumbler follows at 23 of 27. Stanley Quencher H2.0 FlowState Tumbler has the weakest record here at 7 of 32.

**What stands out:** Keeping a drink cold and keeping it in the cup are separate jobs. The Stanley Quencher gets cold praise in 43% of its reviews, yet 68% mention a leak or spill.

It can. 14 of 29 shoppers said it leaked, though reviews on Contigo's own site are kinder at 6 of 6, which we show but don't count.

**Why do some tumblers get so many leak complaints?**
