**Question:** Which cat litter holds up with several cats?

**Short answer:** Fresh Step Odor Shield Multi-Cat Litter has the best record for homes with several cats: 29 of 29 owners with two or more cats said it kept up. Arm & Hammer Slide Easy Clean-Up Litter had no misses either, at 15 of 15 from a smaller group. World's Best Multiple Cat Formula has the weakest record here, with 12 of 36 owners saying it couldn't keep up.

**What stands out:** Smell control splits the page in two. The first three litters get odor praise in 54%, 58% and 64% of reviews, the last three in 40%, 42% and 30%.
