Updated . How we count
Share of shoppers who stated an outcome for keeping drinks cold. Ranked by the lower bound of a 90% confidence interval, so a product needs both a good share and enough reports to rank high.
Sweating sets the Ello Ava apart: 44% of its reviews say it sweats, a complaint that barely comes up for the other tumblers here.
Praise and complaints are the points shoppers repeat most, shown as a share of each product's counted store reviews.
Simple Modern
Ice that holds up is the running theme, with 31 of 36 saying drinks stayed cold for hours. 15% say it's easy to clean and 18% add that it doesn't leak.
Stanley
The biggest group on this page weighed in on it, and 31 of 38 said their ice held up. Stanley's own site shows 7 of 8, which we show but don't count, and 15% call it durable.
Stanley
About the same share as the Quencher from a smaller group: 18 of 22 said drinks were still cold hours later. 15% add that it doesn't leak, and 8% think it costs too much.
Contigo
Reviews lean toward hot coffee, with 55% mentioning heat, so fewer shoppers weighed in on cold. Those who did were happy, at 11 of 13.
Owala
A real split: 21 of 33 said drinks stayed cold, but 12 said the ice melted fast. 8% also mention leaks.
Ello

The 6 products ranked here carry 11,404 reviews at Target. We read the newest reviews of each product (up to a thousand per listing), kept the ones that talk about keeping drinks cold, and counted up to 40 per product, posted between Aug 2021 and Sep 2026.
A review counts only when the reviewer used the product themselves. We drop reviews written in exchange for a free product or a sweepstakes entry (0 on this page), and products that are no longer sold.
Target also shows reviews first posted on brands' own websites. We show them on product cards but never count them, because brand-site reviews run more positive than store reviews of the same products.
Because we searched for the problem, people who had it are overrepresented. Compare products with each other rather than reading a share as your own odds.
We count what shoppers report. Nothing here is safety advice: use heaters, fans and other appliances as the maker's manual says.
Amazon buttons appear only on products that most shoppers here say fix the problem (at least 60%, with enough reviews to trust it). Everything else gets no buy link.
An AI model labels each review against a fixed list of points, and we spot-check the labels before publishing. We publish counts, never the reviews themselves.

Fill it to the brim with ice and keep the lid on between sips. A cup left in a hot car loses its ice much faster.
HiveTried earns a commission when you buy through the "See price & reviews on Amazon" buttons. It never changes the ranking: the order comes from buyer reports only, and a product gets an Amazon button only when buyers here say it works.
