Where these numbers come from

The 7 products ranked here carry 8,276 reviews at Target. We read the newest reviews of each product (up to a thousand per listing), kept the ones that talk about comfort, and counted up to 40 per product, posted between Oct 2021 and Oct 2026.

A review counts only when the reviewer used the product themselves. We drop reviews written in exchange for a free product or a sweepstakes entry (1 on this page), and products that are no longer sold.

Target also shows reviews first posted on brands' own websites. We show them on product cards but never count them, because brand-site reviews run more positive than store reviews of the same products.

Because we searched for the problem, people who had it are overrepresented. Compare products with each other rather than reading a share as your own odds.

Amazon buttons appear only on products that most shoppers here say fix the problem (at least 60%, with enough reviews to trust it). Everything else gets no buy link.

An AI model labels each review against a fixed list of points, and we spot-check the labels before publishing. We publish counts, never the reviews themselves.

Questions buyers ask

Sony ZX110 Wired On-Ear Headphones has the best record (36 of 39). For wireless, Sony WH-CH720N (29 of 32) and Beats Studio Pro (34 of 38) come next.

Are the Sony ZX headphones wireless?

No. The Sony ZX is a wired, budget on-ear pair with a cord that plugs into a headphone jack. If your phone has no jack, you'll need an adapter, or pick a Bluetooth pair like Sony WH-CH720N.

Are Bose QuietComfort headphones comfortable for long wear?

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones does well from a small group (10 of 11). The regular Bose QuietComfort Headphones is further back at 23 of 29, so try them on first if you can.

Is the Beats Studio Pro more comfortable than the Studio3?

Shoppers rate the Studio Pro higher for comfort, 34 of 38 against 28 of 35 for the Studio3. Beats has discontinued the Studio3 and the Studio Pro replaced it, so that's the one you'll find new.
