Where these numbers come from

The 5 products ranked here carry 519 reviews at Target. We read the newest reviews of each product (up to a thousand per listing), kept the ones that talk about warping, and counted up to 40 per product, posted between Dec 2014 and Oct 2026.

A review counts only when the reviewer used the product themselves. We drop reviews written in exchange for a free product or a sweepstakes entry (1 on this page), and products that are no longer sold.

Target also shows reviews first posted on brands' own websites. We show them on product cards but never count them, because brand-site reviews run more positive than store reviews of the same products.

Because we searched for the problem, people who had it are overrepresented. Compare products with each other rather than reading a share as your own odds.

We count what shoppers report. Nothing here is safety advice: use heaters, fans and other appliances as the maker's manual says.

Amazon buttons appear only on products that most shoppers here say fix the problem (at least 60%, with enough reviews to trust it). Everything else gets no buy link.

An AI model labels each review against a fixed list of points, and we spot-check the labels before publishing. We publish counts, never the reviews themselves.

Questions buyers ask

Which baking sheet doesn't warp?

Nordic Ware Naturals Baker's Half Sheet has the best record (24 of 27), and Nordic Ware Naturals Quarter Sheet Pan has the highest share (12 of 13) from fewer shoppers.

Why do baking sheets warp in the oven?

Metal expands as it heats, and a thin pan or one that heats unevenly can twist or pop. Big temperature swings make it worse, like running cold water over a hot pan or heating an empty pan at high heat. Let pans cool before you wash them, and spread food across the whole sheet.

Do Wilton cookie sheets warp?

These two did for many shoppers. Wilton Ultra Bake Pro Cookie Sheet Set has the weakest record here at 2 of 28, and Wilton Mega Cookie Sheet stayed flat for 3 of 11. People are more likely to post a review when a pan warps, so low shares partly reflect who writes in.

Will a warped baking sheet go back to flat?

Sometimes. Many pans buckle with a pop in a hot oven and flatten again as they cool. If a pan stays bent once it's cool, it will rock on the rack and oil or juices can run to one side.
